Mahmut Selman Sakar has been an assistant professor of mechanical mngineering and the head of the MicroBioRobotic Systems (MICROBS) Laboratory at The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne since 2016. He is committed to develop the science and techniques of microrobotics, where materials science and microelectromechanical systems technology meet robotics, creating the next generation intelligent micromachines for applications in life and medical sciences.
