Each week Advanced Materials publishes the latest breakthroughs in applied research across the boundaries between the physics, chemistry, and biology of functional materials, systems, and technologies. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Advanced Materials, seen first as a special focus section in Angewandte Chemie in 1988 and from 1989 onwards as an independent journal. In the meantime, Advanced Materials has grown to become a highly visible forum for the very best interdisciplinary materials science, demonstrating its ongoing success with a 2016 Impact Factor of 19.791 and a Web of Science listing in six different topic categories.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Advanced Materials, we will hold a special AM30 Symposium as part of NANO2018, a meeting hosted by the City University of Hong Kong and organized by the International Committee on Nanostructured Materials (ICNM).
This 14th International Conference on Nanostructured Materials will feature world-class plenary, keynote, and other invited speakers, and highlight excellent research developments in 12 current session themes, including but not limited to hot topics such as Nanomaterials for Energy and Biomaterials, Nanophotonics and Optoelectronics, Carbon Nanomaterials and Composites, Nanostructured Metals and Alloys, and Nanomechanics.
Don’t miss out on celebrating 30 years of Advanced Materials with us at NANO2018. You can still register until 27 May 2018. If you would like to present a contribution yourself, the deadline for abstract submission is rapidly approaching: 1 February 2018.
For the latest news, you can follow NANO2018 also on Facebook and Twitter, and sign up for a NANO2018 newsletter with regular updates.
