Liquipel LLC, the sole owner and licensor of Liquipel, today announced new technology and branding licenses in Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The new licenses are the latest announcements in Liquipel’s global expansion initiative.
Liquipel also announced the expansion of its Santa Ana, Calif., manufacturing facility to meet the increased demand for Liquipel products. The company expects to add an additional 50 full-time manufacturing, quality assurance and customer service positions in the next 90 days.
Liquipel continues to drive its brand and global presence at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Jan. 8 through 11, in Las Vegas Nev., where it will showcase its next generation in nano-coating technology, new product categories and expansion plans.
“We’ve always been a company that was born in the USA,” said Danny McPhail, Liquipel’s head of Product Development and co-founder, “but now we can proudly say that our success, even during these tough economic times, allows us to expand and provide much-needed jobs to Americans.
“Moving the manufacturing to the United States will also provide for a higher level of quality in processing and customer service, as well as enable Liquipel to scale its growth upward,” continued McPhail. “In addition, the technology sourced in the United States allows our company to take a proactive, hands-on approach in managing our business. This enables us to continue developing the next generations of nano-coatings which will provide stronger protection for consumer goods.”
Using the latest advancements in nano-coatings, Liquipel’s patent-pending process creates a liquid-repellant coating that is microscopic and becomes part of the device. It was recently named the Grand Award Winner in the Gadget category in Popular Science magazine’s “Best of What’s New” issue.
